Morgan Curry: member of the 1958 State Champion Baseball team from Julian Rosenwald, a historical Black school system operating in the rural south.

Morgan Curry was a member of the first graduating class of 1959 in the newly built Central High School. Mr. Curry was not only an outstanding academic student, but he excelled in every sport he competed in, baseball, track, and basketball.

Mr.Curry, champion athlete and student during the segregated era in the Northern Neck, tells the story of growing up in a large family of intellects, athletes, and hard workers.
