Mrs. Mary Jackson is the president of Julius Rosenwald School Foundation Northumberland County, Inc. 

This interview with Mrs. Jackson reveals what lengths the Black community went through to ensure education would be available despite living in the harshest of conditions.

Mrs. Jackson, board members, and a host of volunteers are involved in the restoration of the Julius Rosenwald High School in Northumberland County, VA.

One of those volunteers is Mr. Samuel Keeve.
